Duke vs UNC NBA

WHen Carter is healthy and not whining he's one of the top 10 players in the league. Jamison is going to have a breakout year with the Wizards. He really began coming on two seasons ago after blowing a knee out early in his career. The bottom line is dook doesnt match up well with the above mentioned UNC team...They didn't in college and wouldn't in a real game. I love the fact that dookies claim Maggette considering he just about landed you guys on probation.

 

This really is only a reflection of the past few years where we have been down as a program, but as long as they stay healthy I am pretty sure we have 5 players on this years team that will be in the NBA in the next few years, can puke say this?

I feel bad you're even attempting to make this argument. Laettner sucks. Hill woulda been something to brag about in the past, but due to an injury ...sucks. Brand probably the top of the heap right now, but still languishing in Clipper land and STILL isn't a dominant force. Maggette, its almost hard to claim he was even a Dook player isn't it? But in all fairness he's a player, but still not dominant. Duhon I still say his time in the league is short lived and had Ben Gordon not turded it up he'd already be gone. Boozer with Brand and Maggette make the best three there is to offer from Dook... what's sad is possibly EVER that's been in the NBA. Deng is 1 year in and still has to show he can keep up with small forwards defensively. Nothing else after what I've listed is even worth mentioning and that says a lot.

Scott William for Carolina shoulda retired YEARS ago. Lynch is average. Stackhouse showed flashes of dominance, but too many injuries have made him less than a player. I'd equal him out with Hill and while I'll admit Hill healthy was probably better than Stack, the fact that he's seen more than a few seasons helps Stackhouse even it out. At this point Wallace should be ranked higher than any Dook player on the list. He went asshole in Portland and wouldn't play because he was dissatisfied. Not saying its right, but after his move to Detroit he showed what he was capable of. McInnis IMO is pretty much equal playing wise as Maggette is. Carter is capable of taking over a game though he's injury prone too. Jamison deserves to be ranker higher because a can be difference in a game. And Haywood is steadily up and coming in the league.

Rasheed Wallace was CRITICAL in them winning the title last year. He's at least 2nd best if not the best player on their team. No way Cauncy Billups is better than him. Billups is not even top 5 for PGs in the league.
