      hey coach. saw the last few innings of the pineville game last night and the creative pinch hitting. ;-)

      I assume you'll be coaching at winthrop all-star event. i'd love to introduce you to my son Carter who is 13. he spent the weekend in wilmington at the usssa world series. unlike JJ, he didn't see the beach. ha ha. played 4 games on sunday to finally win it, so he was resting and watching the HR derby last night.

      i know you don't want to baby sit. if you need a bat boy or errand boy at winthrop, i bet carter would love the experience. he enjoyed working out with JJ and Peter Hendel this off season. he perks up around good ball players. works really hard.

      if not possible, it's no problem. just thought i'd ask.
