Staff changes. Cuts/restructures. Free Agency and Draft. OTA's. Miscellaneous Tepper drama.

This is the thread for all of it. Discuss.

Let him go. Mays played well late this season and should continue to improve. Christensen is good in relief. Corbett will never stay healthy.

Most of our Safeties are free agents. Who do we bring back?

On both sides of the ball, we need to build from the inside out. It helped with the OLine to make a bunch of scrubs score a lot of points by year end, and got our RB a 1k yd season.

For me, the focus is the front 7 of defense.

It will make Horn and other DB's look much better, not to say we don't address, but not my priority

Not sure our DC gets a head coaching gig after the mammoth failure this season, so let him go.

I want to know what scheme we run on defense asap, so I can pick the proper personnel. My mocks are followed by most scouts:)

We are going to stay with the 3-4 base because that’s what Tepper wants

I don't care about 3-4 or 4-3. I care about attitude, effort, intelligence, and, of course, talent.

We need to see a lot more of all of those things.

The way I see it, our primary needs are Edge, Cornerback, and Wide Receiver (still looking for that WR1). Secondary ones are Defensive Line in general, and Offensive Line in general (we need depth and an eventual replacement for Moton). We also could look at drafting a Quarterback to develop into a solid backup, or bring Dalton back.

In Free Agency, here are the best targets I think:
Edge--Josh Sweat (Eagles), Malcolm Koonce (Raiders), Dayo Odeyingbo (Colts). All of these are young guys who still have room to improve, and who won't break the bank. Khalil Mack, Hasaan Reddick, and DeMarcus Lawrence are all going to be out there but they're old and expensive. We could also go after Chase Young but I would rather have him on the Saints.
CB--DJ Reed (Jets), Charvarius Ward (49ers), Carlton Davis III (Lions). Reed wants out of New York, and should be a target. I think there are several other strong candidates at Cornerback, and this is a position we likely fill in free agency.
WR--Tee Higgins (Bengals), Chris Godwin (Bucs), Darius Slayton (Giants). I hear that Tyreek Hill also wants out of Miami. This is a good year to need a receiver in free agency, but these guys are going to be expensive. The way Bryce finished they year could help lure one of them here.

Depending on what Morgan does at Safety, that could be a need as well. I like Budda Baker, and Jevon Holland may be available too.

Any thoughts on who you think we go after?
