What GM has sucked the most for us

 

Fitterer. Not surprising but the guy that rhule and tepper teed up to hire is historically bad.

Gman mostly was treading water the team got less talented but did have good results mostly around the core of hurney holdover.

Morgan has done okay the guards are expensive but have fixed the Line. We don't really have enough to tell on the draft.

 

I said the Gman.
How come Hurney is not on the list?

 

Because as bad as he was, Hurney was miles better than either Gettleman or Fitterer

 

Any Tepper era GM is a difficult evaluation given the owner's influence. It's hard to know where the blame begins and ends.


This is why I still rank Gettleman #1 by a distance. While having clear autonomy over the front office, he alienated team legends while demolishing a 15-1 Super Bowl team which he had almost no part in constructing. I actually consider him one of the worst GMs in NFL history, given the fact that he destroyed two separate franchises. Trent Baalke is the only other guy who I can think of who's had this opportunity.




Morgan deserves more than a year, but he's not off to a good start at all.

 

Bruce Allen. Telesco working on hitting the double in Vegas though ownership there is also questionable

 

Let's ask Smitty which one he would vote for.

 

I love smitty as much as the next panthers fan but he'd go with whichever guy flattered him last.

 

I don't think Gettleman has enough flattery in his arsenal to get Smitty to change his opinion about him.

 

It's really disheartening how bad our defense is now verses in the past. I'm old as fuck but I love an old school run the ball until the defense gives up and a defense that smothers the line of scrimmage. The earlier Ravens are a great example of this. I'm fine trading away players for picks if we draft some hard nose mother fuckers who count the spleen and kidneys they beat up on every game.
