Up until a couple years ago, many of Tepper's defenders suggested he'd improve as an owner after taking some lumps. It's pretty obvious by now that not only is he not going to "improve" but the lumps are just making him more irrational and compulsive. He's driving this team past irrelevance and into professional sports laughing stock territory. He's going make us all nostalgic over the irrelevant seasons.

 

If the tables were turned. And I did that at a game in BotA, I would be

1. Immediately ejected from the game
2. Subject to having my PSLs revoked.
3. Subject to being banned from ever attending another game at BofA

 

Those might end up being the least of your problems. I'm pretty sure it's assult to toss a drink at someone, right?


The optics are miserable regardless, just from a PR standpoint. Whiny multi-billionare tossing his drink down below at some middle class rando.

They forced former owner to sell because he was too old fashioned. Made sure we got a progressive owner where none of that old school football stuff could survive.

Well, they succeeded.

Slap on wrist would be all coming Teppers way. He is the "new" owner that the league likes. All about social issues and never football.

 

Nah, they hate Tepper just as much as we do. The other owners have hated him ever since the Rhule contract. The media hates him for his North Korea style press conferences that prohibit critics from asking him real questions. The woke idiots hate him for passing over Wilks. Everyone hates David Tepper.



The most fitting and humiliating punishment would be revoking Carolina's 2nd round pick.

 

Anyone who knows the psychological profile of your typical raging narcissist knows they never learn. They only get worse. And it is not just Tepper I am speaking of here.
