Those are just the modern era examples of guys who were terrible year one and eventually became good or great. There's also the famous historical examples of both Mannings, Alex Smith, Troy Aikman, etc.




It doesn't guarantee Bryce will get better, since there's even more examples of bad rookie QBs who stay bad. It's just fair to point out that you don't draft a QB to be awesome right away.
