if carolina ends in the bottom chunk again this season as many are presuming then tepper will clearly be competing for the NFLWO SB

The OL actually kind of getting improved was something Rhule did okay at so hearing they're getting beaten now is not a confidence builder.

I stated elsewhere that I wondered about too many chefs in the kitchen on offense and Reich maybe getting a bit gunshy about being authoritative after indy. Fucker you looked like the reason Nick Foles won a super bowl now coach like it.

Wonder if the Jets feel good about winning 27-0 without their starting QB, or are they like look guys, it was just the Panthers, let's see how we match to some quality opponents

This offense and defense look very, very finesse, which I expected based on the backgrounds of the coaches and the free agent signings, but watching it all in person still makes me nervous. Physical teams are going to give the Panthers trouble all year long.

Indy, McVay, Fangio, etc. All the stuff that was popular four years ago.

If they're going the finesse way, just go all the way. Spread it out and put Young in shotgun 90% of the game. That's what Cincinnati has done with Burrow. Stop trying to be an everything bagel.

Yes to the above! That would (seem to) accentuate Youngs (supposed) strengths and help keep him alive. Bunch trips, empty quads, quads trio ?? Use one back look (ie. cluster and bunch TE) . .. Even put Sanders in the TE spot for bunch quads, shift and run out of shotgun, etc. I feel like Reich would want finesse with the current personnel. MAYBE that is more what they intend to try to do once regular season begins. This is far from a roster built for power football, so Reich & Co better have a scheme that better suits his players
or it's going to be a very long and painful season

This is the softest team in the division by a distance.

That doesn't mean they'll be the worst team, but they are 100% the softest. There's going to be a lot of pressure on Young to produce and for the line to not get him killed in the process.

Those hits he took yesterday can't become a full time issue.
