If you're expecting Young to not ultimately look like a rookie then expect to be disappointed.
He's going to look just as bad as CJ did at times. Especially in his first live action.
    Expectations are a bitch. ..

    Stroud threw four passes tonight.

I guess the debate is settled.

Agree, but i can't help but think how airing on the side of caution might help keep lil' Bryce in one piece. It will be interesting to see how the refs call contact on Young tomorrow. I for one hope they load up on roughing . .. at least for preseason. Hell i hope the refs give carolina preferential treatment the entire year. .. Since they let great big #1 get hammered maybe they will try to protect itty bitty #9. )

By the time it's settled we'll be rebuilding again or still rebuilding I'm sure where the team is on the curve right now.

They didn't look like bottom feeders last night (unfortunately)
Fontenot has gathered significantly more talent than they have had, especially on the defensive side they are definitely better. I know that preseason is not definitive BUT, team speed and depth at almost every position is apparent. Run blocking, D-line, DBs, and they are loaded at RB. Starters didn't play and they still looked dangerous.
How Ridder does will decide whether they win the division or not. Sorry, but I have to go by what i see

Miami didn’t play their starters either.

and? It validates the point that the fuckin falcons look like they have team speed, playmakers, and depth when their non-starters can dominate the non-starters of a team that is "a favorite" to be a potential playoff team this season

Tia, Hill, and Waddle would have cut through that defense like a hot knife through butter.

THAT defense, probably so . .. but as mentioned, that defense was non-starters
