So are they true fullback getting new use or are positional designations not matching up with tight ends playing in a different spot- like how 43 DEs and 34 OLBs were eventually called edge rushers?

 

Ugh. The "edge defender" designation is one of my biggest peeves when it comes to modern football vernacular. It may have been a useful way of sorting players for a hot second in the 2010's, but now it's just as meaningless as OLB used to be.

 

Off topic i know, but if anyone here wants a fun version of ncaa just buy a ebay copy of ncaa 13. Better than 12 AND 14 in my opinion. Play Dynasty mode with default sliders on heisman (but lower INT and pass rush to 20). There are too many sacks and picks. But it still plays well and is less frustrating than 12 and less boring than 14. I put NAVY in big east and use a custom playbook. You can also have fun with ANY SEC team. Just put Mizz and A&M back in the "big" 12
