I don't think we realized just how small Young would look in the NFL, since most college players are also undersized compared to NFL players. He will look like a high school freshman playing against grown men.



The Flutie comparisons are perfect because that's the last time we've seen something like this. Other short quarterbacks who've played since then have been much thicker/broader than Young. Kyler is a tank compared to Young. Even Russ is big compared to Young.

 

Clearly at 21/22 he is done growing vertically, however he could still thicken up a little. Hell my frame broadened after college (like a lot of guys) . However, most of the added thickness came in the form of plain ol' fat for me. )

 

He's the Frodotype qb for the next decade

 

I'm not sure why yall are worried about young working out. the meta says cheap rookie contract qbs are easy to get rid of they only cost you time.

Worst case:
In four years we'll definitely get the qb that fixes everything.

 

I was sitting at 170 when I was 22, and now I'm trying to get down to 220. It's not all belly fat either. He'll thicken up.
