I still prefer Stroud over Young.

I get it dig, and i wouldn't be sorry if it's Stroud. We won't have to hold our breath every time he's hit. I just give a slight edge to Young based mainly on the improvisational aspect that he provides that cannot be coached.
Also there were 3 differences that are substantial that boosted the difficulty level in Youngs evaluation tape over Strouds. .. An O-line that did not protect him as well, inferior receivers (key drops), and inferior competition, for example Tennessee > Toledo. Yes, Young missed getting the ball to open guys on several plays versus Tenn, but he faced major pressure the entire game. The few plays that he miss-read were heavily outweighed by the successful plays he made and created. Stroud looks great against Toledo . .. but IT WAS TOLEDO. Give Young Oh St. O-line and receivers and that Tenn game is a Bama win (Bama probably goes undefeated)

Just based on the eye test, Young is the better QB and it isn't close. If he was a little bigger he would be in Andrew Luck/John Elway territory as a prospect.

With a top 5 pass blocking line(don't have) and a few receivers who can run routes and catch consistently(have a couple maybe?) AND a helmet that lessens concussions (working on one??) i think Young could be in early Wilson territory without being taller, and possibly Brees territory, if he has the luxury of a consistent pocket-like area to work from

If Young is the choice I hope he ends up being the Panthers' all time greatest QB. I just want to see this team consistently win and to be a team that teams dread to face.

I will just be happy to have something football related to do next weekend.

I loathe the NBA, so a long time after end of April til training camp. Like a dry desert through May and June

Start watching MLB. The rule changes have made it a little more watchable. )
