I watched something on Reich and what he is looking for in a QB, and besides the "leader" stuff he mentioned in his intro, he also mentioned mobility, not necessarily a runner like Josh Allen runner, but one that needed to be accounted for. Certainly not a Brady where nobody covers him.
They also showed a lot of his offense and he 10-15 yd crossing patterns. Lots of guys have a good deep ball, but the mid range crossing patterns are hard for them to hit in stride. Cam Newton could throw the ball through a brick wall, but had guys turning around backwards and jumping at balls 3 feet over their head. Mostly mechanics for him.

Will be fun to see what and who we talk with in a week or so in Indy

I think Stroud is the best fit for Reich in the current crop, but I'm not sure he will be available unless we give up a fuck-ton of draft assets to trade up. After the whole Sean Gilbert and Everette Brown fiascos, I'm still gun-shy about trading away future firsts.

    https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jer...-2-0-tyree-wilson-goes-before-will-anderson-j

This mock, as he says, has no trades. Chicago would probably trade down and if we are looking at value for a 9 pick and best value is an OT, then I would figure the Panthers would drop back to 13-15 and pick up someone else or move up for a QB. He thinks we go vet route. I am hoping we pick up a tackle that can kick in to guard in a fix, but not in 1st round. Keep in mind that many say this is a weak draft and 1st round talent is only about 15 guys

I had mentioned many pages back about Tyree Wilson and it looks like he is climbing. Be great if Anderson dropped to us:)

AR value is 2nd half of the 1st round.

Say a trade adds an extra pick so we get FIVE of these.
Who are your 5 picks, and who do you add in free agency?

I'd go with Gonzalez at 9 because how often are there three 6' 2" badass corners in the top half of a draft? We HAVE to get one
Siaki Ika at 40 Jack Campbell at 62 *Isaiah Foskey at 66
    Hendon Hooker at 94

FOUR core defensive impact players (in the near future) and a future starting QB who will be an upgrade to anyone we've had in a long while by year two.
Add FA's LB Drue Tranquill and TE Evan Engram

    Playoffs!

I saw some kick where all 4 QB went ahead of us and we took the Illinois CB

If there's a run on QBs the panthers are likely to be a part of it.

My feelings on the draft are hazy cause of free agency. Sign a qb and they can wait and see for example.

You can justify almost any position- OL is probably the safest to ignore.

I've read where Carr wants 35 mil a year. What with other qB wanting more is he worth it?
