Maybe it will be a reversal of last season?
The Panthers lose the first 3 and then go on a long win streak.
The fumbles, the OL acting like a sieve, Baker inaccurate.
Everyone else would have had to do more than expected and they didn't.
0-2 against teams a lot folks expected them to beat.
Rhule's rear end probably getting real hot.

There's still time for panthers fans to protest.

Nfl owners don't mind empty seats. They don't mind fans calling them names in the street- when they're in the street tepper lives in Florida right?

    You gotta show up mad

    Chants to sell the team

white towels to wave like flags in surrender

Dead silence when the panthers "defense" is on the field

    Pregame rallies

Flood the callin shows with questions about when tepper will leave

Tell your local pols to enjoy being voted out if they keep rolling over and giving incentives to this bunch of losers

We seem bound and determined to try to make Baker look like a top tier NFL QB, rather than win games. It seems that when we pounded the football, we had some success, but cannot stick with it like the Browns did last week. No, we have to pass, pass, pass, although our Oline cannot pass protect.

Still have baseball season to watch, then come first of November, will start looking at next years draft. It is a Panther tradition

I still like the defense, even with Snow randomly doing shit that makes me yell at the TV (Burns in coverage, YGM over a guard, etc) but it's a defense that plays well enough to get wins in the NFL.

The offense has a few good players, but the McAdoo hire and the shotgun marriage with a limited quarterback precludes the Panthers from being watchable on that side of the ball. DJ and CMC just have no chance, and Rhule has decided he'd rather play scrubs like Shi Smith and Pat Elflein over the better alternatives on the roster.

It all kinda nets out to a team stuck at 5 wins. Bad, but not rock bottom enough to foster necessary changes. Even if Tepper fired Rhule, the next goober he'd hire would probably look at the close losses and talk himself out of a rebuild.

At least the Jags already have a win this season.

There's nothing wrong with the talent on this team. Just horrible fucking play calling.

The defense wasn't great, but it was good enough to beat the Giants yesterday.
Baker not only got some drops, but he wasn't very accurate either.
He had throws behind, in front of, too high, and just plain too far.
I would definitely replace Chuba. You can't coach out Roberto Duran hands.
Any OL with Elfline playing on it is subpar.
I would have traded in 3 of Luvu's 10 tackles for that interception he dropped.
Icky... making those kind of mistakes in practice is understandable, but jumping off sides on a 4th down play is just lack of concentration.
Will winning a game or two they are not suppose to make up for the start of the season?
Maybe, but when you crush the heart of an anticipating fanbase it's kind of hard to get them back.

I had said earlier that if they start 3-3, they would make the playoffs. Losing by a FG or less in their first 2 starts hurts for sure.

The 3-3 prediction was based on all the new lineman and the learning curve they were up against. Curve might be bigger than i thought
