    I'm pulling for the quarterbacks to slay the combine since that increases the odds of a tradeback, but it also increases the odds of the team drafting a quarterback, which I would hate. It's a catch 22.

    I was reading the post combine CBS Sports mock and they had Neal, Ikem, Cross all gone before Carolina's #6 pick.
    They were projecting the Panthers, in a QB panic, taking Pickett and even during that little blurb they couldn't help but mention Pickett's hand size.
    Shit you fucking bloggers give the kid a break.
    I was also reading somewhere that Tepper has a boner for the Pickett choice.

    It's a bad mock since it involves an nonsensical trade up. If Willis' stock takes off after the combine, you'd need to trade up to #1 to secure him, which is the point of trading up. You wouldn't trade with one of the two teams that could theoretically draft a quarterback, and certainly not the 2nd team in that order.

    Trade back, take BPA with the 1st round pick, and then see what sticks at OL in the mid rounds.

    Christian McCaffrey is getting trade interest but if I'm reading spotrac right we'd be saddled with 26 million dollars of dead money this year verses 14 next year
