2022 draft a QB

Not with this fucking line he didn’t.

 

I'm betting it will be Cam plus a rookie quarterback. Willis makes some sense there. Nobody will be rushing him onto an NFL field any time soon and Cam is good for another couple years.


I probably wouldn't draft any of these quarterbacks, but the team is going to keep swinging until they connect.

 

After looking at these two teams playing today I will say the Panthers are nowhere near the worst team in the NFL.
I never realized just how inaccurate Goff is and Detroit is a penalty making machine.

Why the fuck is Dan Campbell calling plays? When did that insanity start?

Anthony Lynn is another solid ex-HC who's screwed himself by signing onto a bad coordinator gig. These guys never learn apparently.

 

Realized something today

It does not matter what rookie quarterback this staff would draft since they absolutely suck at developing, utilizing, or even evaluating them.
It would take a franchise talent like Rodgers, Wilson, or Watson to get close to sniffing a playoff run with the current regime.
Maybe Fields MIGHT be that type of elite QB some day but not for at least another 2 or 3 years (if then). Since there is no rook in the ‘22 class even as gifted as Fields then it would make ZERO sense to draft a QB in the top half of the upcoming draft when Fields was passed by and not even worth that pick.
The best options for this staff would be to BJ and barter their way into acquiring a franchise QB in the offseason, or better yet, just resign. They are impeachable already, based on the Cam/Teddy/Sam/Cam clusterfuckery
