Trevor Lawrence since you didn't stand up and demand to go to a good organization this is your chance to talk to the owner and start making demands. Real coach, real GM, or else...

Do only the bare minimum to avoid fines the 'hold-in.' Make sure you tell the owners you will NEVER re-up with them if they won't get people in. To modify a Parcellsism if the guys buying and cooking the groceries can't make anything good why should they leap into the frying pan for them.

right. It’s my understanding that as a rookie once you sign that’s your shit. .. for better or worse. Because of this (in large part) look for agents to add clauses in future rookie contracts. .. Clauses like:
“If at anytime during the course my first season my coach loses his mind in a bar over pussy then I can take my shit elsewhere immediately.”

I don't think the agents would be that proactive unless the player asks for it. They seem to be obsessed with chasing their cut on the current contract anything outside those numbers is immaterial.

It’s really hard to blame a guy IMO. .. . Most of us here have probably been in those shoes to some degree

Actions like this are red flags less in the act and more in the brazen stupidity in which he conducts them.

He's definitely done it before- the insulation you get from the locals stops the second you're leave the coaching job how can he not know that?
