    Lost his mind would imply a change from his normal decision making process. This is pretty much the same Gettleman we got in Carolina- get rid of talented players to prove how good you are roster building or something.

    EDIT: And again I'm reminded of how many writers and comment sections laughed at the panthers for getting rid of this guy and lauded the Giants for picking him up.

    EDIT2: That's a joke account. But i'll take any chance to bash Gettleman. buy a fucking treadmill with some of those cap savings you fat fuck. or even use the one at the team facility.

    It depends on the draft capital. If you're getting three guys who will be ready for 2022 plus a future first, I'd say it's a great trade. I don't think the Giants have any illusions about making a serious run this year.
