    I guess they CAN just claim "we tried our best to upgrade many positions" but if Fields does significantly better in Chicago than Darnold does here then that ship sinks quickly

    Meh. There's a Justin Fields in every draft.


    Rhule has a like a 20 year contract and a cult-like following from the media. He can afford to bottom out for a few years before consolidating power. Fitterer is probably the short-term cumdumpster here.

    Casino Hosts will be comping tix. People forget Vegas has a pop of 2.2m. Long term locals tend not to be gamblers unless they’re professional poker players or work for the “House”. So yeah going to a game will be a thing. Probably not in August/September…

    I want to see the Panthers enforce the mask usage in the concourse area as announced today. Pissed off drunks leaving or pissing in sinks aren't interested in protocols

    If Erving is the starting LT they'll only have to do it for a month, after that the mask monitors will get really good at candy crush

    Moves like this are the reason why you haven't been to an NFC Championship in seven years despite having one of the league's best quarterbacks. Paying elite money to a box safety would have been a crappy business decision even 20 years ago. Plus there's the opportunity costs involved with the massive draft capital they surrendered to get him.

    Draft picks are overrated. Jamal gonna get 10 sacks and 10 INTs this year. The first double double in NFL history.

    10 interceptions would be a superhuman accomplishment, since it's 5x his career amount and the Seahawks use him more like an extra linebacker. It's way more likely that his sack production regresses to a normal range while the non-ball skills remain.
