Matt Rhule is ridiculous. This ain't college football, sunshine.

 

Example made. Move on. He wasn't going to make the team. Stop looking for drama.

 

Example made of what? It wasn't a late hit. Rhule just didn't like seeing one of his Temple kids getting hurt.

 

A player having his career railroaded is far more interesting than anything else happening at training camp. By the way, he definitely could have made the team, or at least the practice squad. The Panthers pure shit behind Chinn and Burris.

 

The team has been chastised earlier in the week by coach to not tackle/rough-housing during practice.
If Belichek had done done it then it would have been considered motivation to the rest of the team to follow the the rules set down by the coach.

 

There will be plenty of other camp bodies available before the season starts. lol
There has very little NFL to talk about for quite a while. Why the big rush now to generate some fluff?

 

That isn't what he told reporters. He told the media he wanted to get his team in pads and start hitting. That's what he was dwelling about all of last week. At minimum, I'd say Rhule has a messaging issue..


Plus the other guy who hit Kirkwood is still on the roster.

 

You think he makes anyone else's PS? He was a camp body.

 

I've never seen a player get cut for doing what he was supposed to do. It's a fascinating dichotomy.

 

Probably not now. But hey, at least we made an example out of him.
