yup, and much like you “fell in love” with BYU Clausen Clone I fell in love with Trask. .. until he had performance issues in those last few games. I realized that he was only as good as a decent pass protection line and a couple of really dependable receivers. Once he was without that support he looked pretty damn mediocre. It will be the same scenario with ANY rook QB playing in the 2021 NFL season. Even the mighty lawrence is going to turd many beds until some talent surrounds him.

Why would we think QB when we have Grier on our roster? Granted he was rarely active on game day.

I'm going to trust our staff, but picking Jones at 8 will put a strain on that.

I can't even read Kiper's name anymore without thinking of Frank Caliendo yelling Todd, Todd.

"After a head-turning week at the Senior Bowl, Jones' draft stock has skyrocketed and ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. believes the Carolina Panthers could be in the target zone for him."
“I think Mac has made himself,” Kiper Jr. said last month. “He’s jumping in there. Carolina and Matt Rhule are seeing him every step of the way (at the Senior Bowl), and they’re picking at eight. I have him going 15, and I’m not sure he gets to 15 now.”

"McShay was in full agreement with Kiper Jr.’s assessment."

oh good lord. .. so now the 5th or 6th rated QB in this soon to be touted G.O.A.T QB class is BRADY!? Fuck i give up, for now . ... but in a few years when every single fucker but Lawrence is no better than a NON-elite and a little above average NFL QB to say “I told you so”

Lawrence probably won't be the best QB in this class when it's all said and done. I think that any of Jones/Lance/Fields/Wilson may become a franchise guy, but each needs to go to a place where they can be developed properly. I sure hope we're a place that can do that, but time is going to tell.

Should the Washington Football Redskin Team take Jones in the 1st round if available?
