I would like to get someone who makes plays and will win games for you. With Teddy, I get that he won't lose games for you (except when he fumbles at the goal line, or throws for 2 yards on 4th and 8), but he won't win them either. There's a shot that Wilson or Lance could develop into a QB that puts the team on his back in the 4th quarter, and I want to see that again.

Remember the Giants game in 2015, when they scored late to tie it? We had about a minute and a half to drive the field and score, and they panned to Cam. He nodded his head like he was saying, "Ok, I got this". I want that attitude from a Quarterback back in Carolina.

Houston traded their LT to seattle after he held out for more money

Deshaun Watson predictably got murdered with no blockers so Bill O'Brien* traded 2 first round picks and assorted players for Laremy Tunsil and assorted players. then being forced to pay a huge contract to Tunsil. EDIT: They tried former Gettleman fail Matt Kalil at LT- he never played a down and was cut when Tunsil arrived

*The best GM in Colts, Titans, and Jaguars history.

I'm watching the Boca Raton bowl and am 100% sold on Zach Wilson.

be careful what you wish for

I promise you that this guy is a more mobile JC which means he’ll just take sacks and throw pics while scrambling for his life. Against shitty college talent he looks “promising with a high ceiling” . .. In the NFL he will be on and off of IR and on and off the bench
No thanks, especially not on the first day. .. much less at #4 overall

After seeing more of the top 4 QBs the past 2 weeks the only one worth a top 4 pick is Lawrence. Anyone else taken in the top half of the 1st will be picked out of sheer desperation. I hope for Carolina’s sake that they are not desperate for a starting QB in 2021. There are AT LEAST 15 players at various positions that the panthers would be better served by (and sooner) than a rookie QB (not named Lawrence).
I would actually be surprised (and disappointed) if carolina took a QB at 4 or 5 instead of the top CB, ILB, DE, LT etc.
If carolina did move up to 3 I would hope that they would take that badass LT from Ore.
Now a guy like that seems worthy of a top 4 pick . .. shit what was I thinking, he’s an offensive lineman so of course carolina won’t be drafting one of those (day 1 anyway).

I would not be upset about Sewell, but I disagree with you about Wilson.

Let Atlanta be the team dumb enough to draft a quarterback. I'll take the dominant left tackle.
