Any thoughts on Texas QB Sam Ehlinger? What round is he projected? I know it should be o-line before qb in next year's draft, but should the Panthers consider a qb at all in next year's draft?

I would rather have Brock Purdy, but Ehlinger is an intriguing prospect. Think Tim Tebow with a better deep ball. He will likely go in the 4th-5th round.

If we take a QB, then I want to gamble on someone like Jamie Newman who has a high ceiling but needs development. Think Josh Allen as a comparison. We can get him in the second, possibly the third.

A ton depends on where we are selecting. If we lose out, then there's a reasonable shot at Micah Parsons, who would be a wrecking ball for us. I think we will go after Hasaan Reddick in Free Agency because he was a Temple guy, and if we do that means he will play the Will and Chinn will move to SS and then to Spur when we're running five DBs. Reddick will be the buck and slide to DE on obvious passing downs, with Burns on the other side. If that happens, and if Parsons is the pick, then we just need a CB and our defense is complete. And I believe it would quickly become one of the league's best.

If we can't get Parsons, I imagine either Farley or Surtain will be available. We need a good press corner, and either of them would immediately improve our defense. If we end up picking around 12-14 range and Parsons, Farley, and Surtain are all gone, then I wouldn't be opposed to Leatherwood or the top OT on the board.

I like Purdy a lot. I also like ISU LB Rose, not early on, but I like him.

Is he declaring? Anyone would be an improvement over Whitehead.

I thought I caught a snippet about him, but not sure (sometimes turn the TV down and listen to music). And Amen! to any improvement over Whitehead.

Purdy is playing his way up the charts, but would be a 3 year project...albeit a good one. Rose would be an outstanding 3-5 round pick, but I think he'll be at ISU next year and play his way into a 2nd rounder in '22.

    Diggin' the ISU love, though!!!

Now..O-line in '21...O-line in '21...O-FUCKING-LINE in '21. It's been ignored too damn long.

All of our LBs, except 54 need replacing.

Sewell is going to the Bengals with the third pick. I would be happy with Leatherwood but I would rather go defense in the first. Either Samuel Cosmi or Jalen Mayfield would be worth a second round pick but other than that I'm not interested in the offensive tackles, this class doesn't have a ton of depth.

You don't have him listed, but we should look at Trey Hill from UGA. If he's there in the 2nd, we would be wise to run to the podium and cut Paradis immediately.
