I was going to refrain from responding since this is not the appropriate location for this conversation, but you morons are tempting me.

 

Just for those who are not aware, Here are a couple of examples of the countless American dollar driven hospitals. ..
The highest ranking Docs of each hospital will generate a massive amount of “supplemental” income for the hospitals that they grace with their presence . ..
One way is to make a quick daily visit to the ED and order expensive CT scans and MRIs for almost ANY and EVERY patient with coverage, whether it’s needed or not.
Another way to make some easy extra $$$ is the $13,000 granted for each covid patient that goes on a ventilator, and $39,000 for each “confirmed” covid death. That $39,000 was lowered to around $30,000 (can’t currently find exact amount). All it takes is for a doctor to sign off that “covid contributed to death”. Well there are tons of factors that contribute to the deaths of the relatively small, less healthy vulnerable population (from the flu to old age).
A very large factor in the ongoing covid bullshit is simply GREED

I haven't owned a TV in 20 years. I have worked for hospital systems for almost 25 years. I was part of the team that developed the operational protocols for the response of Providence Health Systems, which own dozens of hospitals and hundreds of clinics up and down the west coast, Alaska, Montana, and soon-to-be Texas. Providence alone has spent more than half a billion dollars on developing protocols that keep patients safe.

Reporters get their death numbers directly from the hospitals. If the hospitals were lying, not only is it completely illegal, but it would have effects on insurance and medical licenses. It can't be done for political reasons (Alaska and Montana are not even liberal states).

The problem with you dumbasses, who ONLY consume right-wing media, is that you apparently cannot understand that infection and symptomatic are not the same thing. Symptomatic infections are a very small percentage of overall infections. If 50,000 people die of flu in a year, a much larger number of people are infected but have no symptoms or mild symptoms. Those same people can infect others. If a particular infection comes along with a death rate four times that normal number, like COVID-19, it means it is important to take seriously people who are non-symptomatic spreaders. But you wingnecks refuse to understand this. I think many of you do it on purpose. That makes you not only stupid, but evil.

I won’t pay for cable and I don’t get the Fox channel and I don’t just check conservative sources. I do not watch much TV (Local news and some Netflix). I have worked in hospitals a long time too... though not currently. Although I am a registered republican I lean moderate on some issues. I do wear a damn mask to assuage the fear and paranoia of others (bless their hearts). I actually wear N95s since unlike 90% of “face coverings” and surg masks worn by the ignorant public the N95 works to a degree. So you assumed a bunch of shit. .. now I want to do some assuming.

What ain’t so hot is that you’ve been drinking the Kool Aid long enough to start making it yourself. You sound like a company man to the core. Company men hear “company speak”, and start talkin the talk and walkin the walk. Eventually all their loyalty is in that almighty source of their income and financial security. The rule is “to keep a job and get promotions/raises/bonuses you better be an agreeable company guy”. Nobody is going to buck the company, that would jeopardize your livelihood.
