It sounds far fetched but it's perfectly logical. Teams that win Super Bowls typically do it on protracted winning streaks. That's just the way it is. You have to win 2-3 in a row at minimum, and the teams that win the SB usually come into the playoffs on a win streak (discounting week 17 'rest your starters' games).

Five of New England's Super Bowl wins came off a 10 game winning streak. The 2001 Patriots were actually 5-5.

We could probably even afford a prime meridian loss at Indy, just as long as we win the five NFC games.

Our next coach is going to be from the offensive side of the ball and he's going to be a real analytics nerd. The Anti-Ron, if you will.

Cameron Diaz seems like she would be a lot of fun.

Seriously, I have no idea. I just want to win some games and re-establish the dominance over the South that we had during the Fox years.

If it's a first time head coach, I'd prefer a defensive guy, since they have less on their plate from an X&O standpoint, which allows them to focus on the broader aspects of being a Head Coach. Not Vin Diesel does remind me of NY Giants John Fox a bit, and most of our front seven could thrive in that scheme.
