Oline was on rollerskates and the DB's appeared to have vertigo. The coverage overall was soft as hell.

That is true. They're also not stuck with a backup quarterback and kicker. Allen was great today but I need to see it consistently.

Tough call with Rivera. I'm not sure there's an upgrade available and it's easier to go down than up in the NFC. But at some point, you've missed too many opportunities to keep your job.

Upgrade the Oline and Allen will show some consistency. Slye has a thunderous leg, but obvious accuracy issues. I'd rather ride it out with Rivera another year. Between the Oline and it being the first year of the 3-4, should see some improvement.

I'm leaning slightly towards another year. That can change if we have a dogshit finish or if an obvious upgrade becomes available. I'd still run away from the 3-4 like it's a hobo trying to stab me with a needle. It doesn't suit our strengths and another season won't change that.

At this point, losing isn't going to bother me a ton...Improves our draft position. However, they better be competitive!
What I want to see is Allen continue to battle and maybe sprinkle a few touches to Bonafon.

Yeah I don't care so much about the record, but if the quality of play tanks and it's clear the team has quit on Ron, I'm not sure you have a choice. A home loss to the Redskins would be unacceptable, for instance.

Kind of like a home loss to Atlanta.

Rivera and Hurney deserve to be fired, but that doesn't come without risk. You could end up hiring a crazy person who trades away your good young players just to "instill a culture" or whatever. In fact, that's probably more likely than finding the next great young minds.
