Right now, David Tepper is a .500 owner. You are what your record is. He had an opportunity to make some moves last year, because the coach he didn’t hire allowed his team to lose seven games in a row. He didn’t make that move, and then he retained a very marginal general manager. I’d like to know the analytics behind that. Hell, maybe he wants Harbaugh and Jim wasn’t ready yet. Maybe he wants his brother, and wants to figure out a way to make a trade. Who knows. But this shits getting really old.

The Panthers are one game above .500 since SB50. Generally speaking, we beat bad teams, have mixed results against average teams. and we're often embarrassed against good teams. Rivera is a defensive coach, yet we've somehow given up the most explosive plays in the NFL since 2016 despite having Luke Kuechly, and the offense has failed to post a top 10 ranking over that same time span. The team has clearly reached a bottleneck under it's current regime. The way in which Cam's health has been mismanaged is in and of itself a fireable offense. Had we shut him down in 2016 instead of gunning for a few meaningless late season wins, and had we not waited so long to fire Mike Shula, there's a good chance he'd still be a top 10 quarterback.

Those are all of the facts.

Tells the story. They really have the most big plays given up since 2016?

The offense needs a true #1 quarterback or a true #1 receiver. I think you could get away with starting Allen in 2020, just as long as you give him a weapon other than McCaffrey that defenses have to account for. Moving on from Cam could open us up to the Amari Cooper sweepstakes. I don't believe the team will be picking low enough to draft a WR1 or a QB1.

I know Funchess struggled last year, but sometimes I wonder if he would have bounced back this year?

Ouch, the trolling opportunities are great with this one but I will be mature and suppress the giggles.

I don't think the issue is the head coach. I think it is Cam. And maybe the GM. Having a super expensive "superstar" always looks super ugly on the downward slope. They don't age well. And there seem to be more hidden nuggets from later rounds of the draft playing well in the league now than ever.

Btw...Seattle won again. And Russell Wilson dressed like a normal human being.

Life is complicated and sometimes the cuckold gets to be the Bull. It's rare but it happens. Let's see how San Francisco handles having a target on their back every week now.
