The Colts are endearing right now because they have that underdog mojo working, but that's about to change over the next five years.

People are understating how many things had to break right for the Colts to be in the situation they're in. Andrew Luck had to hurt his shoulder three years ago. The Colts had to handle it so poorly that it set up a lost, lame duck 2017 for Chuck Pagano. Pagano had to win just enough games in 2017 for the Colts to end up picking in the top 10 "dead zone" where taking a guard would be palatable. Nelson and the Colts amazing offensive line has protected Luck's shoulder from further aggravation. Josh McDaniels had to make an amazing DC hire before leaving the Colts at the altar, setting up the discovery of Frank Reich. Indy had to overcome a 1-5 start with help from cupcake matchups against Blake Bortles, Blaine Gabbert, and the awful ass Oakland Raiders. Their second half schedule was so easy, they could even afford a 6-0 loss to Cody Kessler. And then they had to have Houston slip to the #3 seed to avoid drawing New England in the wildcard.

Good luck emulating all of that.

Your points are crucial and it has to start with O-line. ..Ours sucks. The colts and boys are in it largely because their O-lines are among the most talented and cohesive.

Carolina doesn’t have to “emulate ALL of that”, they just need to start at a point that is logical. In a draft that has solid talent in the trenchs DRAFT TALENT damnit! Better help at S and CB will be on hand next season. Day one of the draft desperately needs to be best TRENCH player available until we have significant upgrades on both lines. That glaring weakness can not be addressed by this team anywhere else but the draft.
If they don’t know this and ACT on it they really do not know what the hell they are doing.

My points are always crucial. I wouldn't make them if they weren't, rake.
