That means you're only 16 away from breaking Carolina's NFC record of consecutive regular season wins.

 

And yer still a basement dwelling loser.

16 consecutive wins = No SB's. While I'm not trying to dog the CP's, one would make a strong argument that they aren't even in the same conversation as the Buffalo Bills that lost 4 straight SB's. Historically, the CP's are a great regular season football team and not much more. That's reality.

 

Right, right, right....the Panthers 18 consecutive wins was not THAT impressive. We know, Big Red. A three game winning streak at the end of a dismal 49ers season is great, though. Ok.

The 49ers have been consistently cucked by the panthers since 1995, their first season. Since then, the 49ers have amassed much less and only one sb since they lost to Baltimore with a malcontent and then produced the league's biggest black eye.

They've been in the league since the mid 40's and only until they got Montana, arguably one of the best QB's ever (kudos to them) they had no championships other than division wins against three other consistently very shitty teams.

There's really no comparing them, historically. We can only go year to year since they've both been in the league when comparing apples to apples. And they suck right now and the panthers don't.

Are they a more "storied" franchise? Absofuckinlutely. They've had a much better qb during their formative years of the 80-90's and one of the most innovative offense minded coaches in history. They have been in the league about 70+ years and the panthers, 22. And they both have owners who have done some stupid shit too, apparently.

So just stop it. It got old a long time ago.

 

He isn't going to stop. Big Red just wants one moment of victory over B&B. He just wants one moment of solace and he's not going to stop until he gets it.

I do appreciate the fact that the 49ers aren't tanking at the end of a lost season, like most teams do nowadays. That's really bad for the NFL. I give a lot of credit to Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch for not folding up the tent, and staying a competitive spoiler against playoff contending teams.



All of that being said, 4-10 is still fucking shitty as fuck.
