I'd wager there is gonna be a minority as part, if not the whole shebang, ownership.

Not that that is a bad thing, as long as it isn't a few rich rappers or some such shit, who's whole desire is to bring some social justice to the nfl via a whole franchise.

If someone like CK buys any part of it whatsoever, I'm done with the nfl, period. And by "like," I mean an american malcontent.

 

It would have to be something really, really, really silly to drive me away. If it's a group of hip hop artists with Kaepernick as a minority owner/team president, then yeah, I'd have to start cheering for a new team. More than likely, it's going to be a group of non-discript, wealthy, mostly old white folks with a token minority and/or female like Condi Rice.

 

With the direction the nfl is going, no matter I've absolutely loved this game from little league, hs, college, etc., I will be done with the nfl and go back to college primarily, like I did from c. 1980-1994, until the panthers because my home team.

 

Also, even though I think it's extremely - EXTREMELY - unlikely that the team ever relocates, I'd actually be open to cheering for a relocated Panthers team - depending on where they move. If it's somewhere awesome like San Antonio or San Diego, I'd probably have to consider staying a Panthers fan. If it's somewhere ridiculous like Mexico City or London, then they can go fuck themselves.

 

If I stayed in the nfl, I'd go back to the Titans, since I was a big Oilers fan when I lived there during the 70's and my sister was a cheerleader/dancer for them.

 

I've had a back up plan for years just in case the Panthers ever sour on me. I'm 32 and I've only ever been a fan of this team. Changing allegiances once in your life is perfectly acceptable, in my opinion.

 

I've been basically DONE with the NFL for a couple of years now. I'm old enough (and have moved enough) to have had three NFL teams . .. the Panthers were the last. The sale to some non-football piece(s) of shit entity will actually add a convenient sense of closure. it will be easy to just completely focus on NCAA now were I pull for many teams and coaches. It's much more gratifying and fun.

The playoff has actually ruined college football fot me. Nobody cares about the regular season or Bowl Games anymore. It's all just a means to get four teams into a playoff that nobody will remember in two years. It's hideous.
