    Situationally, yes. We play enough shifted fronts where he could be the guy taking on the RT. Then you keep CJ fresh for pass downs.

    Not at all, no. Butler is a pure nose tackle, not even a three technique.

    In theory maybe you could slide Short out, but they aren't going to do that. Butler is going to play sparingly as a backup just as Shaq played sparingly as a backup. The DE situation is fucking terrifying, though.
