    If that's the case he'll go for the one year prove it deal. Don't see him being able to swallow enough pride to come back here.

    I don't think it's a realistic outcome either. And if he were to sign the deal just to stage a holdout, that's not something I'd be excited about.

    Good luck to Norman. If he was 3-4 years younger I could see us giving in but for a guy turning 29 next season there's no way in hell we tie up 16 mil per season.

    Yep. As it is I'm kind of like ehhhhhh what the fuck ever. And I loved every second of him pissing every WR and other fan base off this past season.

    Gettleman rescinding the tag is indefensibly idiotic. There is no justification for it whatsoever. If they didn't want to make him the highest paid corner, fine, don't do that, but then have him play under the franchise tag.
