#1 Overall Pick 2011 - Cam Newton (now also 2011 Offensive Rookie Of The Year)

Okay I haven't listened to the full postgame coverage but I saw a clip of Newton calling out coaches today. That's not fucking good. I mean yeah, the coaching earned criticism but not publicly from your QB.

 

First Panther to be named league MVP, he was also named Offensive Player of the Year

 

Did he call them out in public other than to state what we heard about tight butt playing conservative? What was he saying?

What I thought I heard was him sort of yelling at the coaches the one time after call a TO because the plays were coming in slow. But that was sideline chatter, not public ripping.

 

I was talking about tight butts/coaches had them. Which I guess we all heard. I saw references to an on field interview but never saw that one.

 

I'm not sure he was really calling out the coaches in the one we all heard; my take anyway. What he said was prolly the pure factual truth.

Hell, my butt was getting damn tight by the start of the 4th qtr.

 

I guess, I just don't like the leader going negative in public. Which I thought he was doing. Reverted to immature Cam somewhat. I'd prefer he stick to the cliches.

 

I can go along with that. Let's hope he doesn't mope in a bad way if he loses one of the next two games.

Cliches; like the, "Cat outa the hat" and "put up on a pinnacle," "each and every, at the end of the day," variety? lolz.

I'm loving the guy regardless. Superman, Batman, Cap'n America, the bearded 88 wonder, TD, Sr., the whole dang lot of em.

 

I saw that on the postgame. I was surprised but actually happy. It seemed like he was stating the obvious. Rivera said the same thing.

It didn't seem inappropriate. We stopped scoring with over 6 minutes left in the first half.

 

Okay.

 

Watching Cam play football is wonderful. Watching cam try to communicate verbally is just horrible.
