I think a veteran coach would avoid that situation.

Yeah, the story is that they were worried Koetter would get hired somewhere else, so they decided to make a move now. Who knows if it's the right move. Lovie is steady but nothing special.

I'd like the idea of having Lovie Smith as the next HC of the 49ers. Tampa and Chicago are seriously stupid for letting that guy go.

I bet you would. Outside of Cleveland the Niner job its far an away the worse open job. Shit quarterback, meddlesome GM with an ego the size of Alaska. The only thing that San Fran has going for it is their name

I'm not sure the Niner job is as bad as you say.

Shit QB? Kaepernick had one bad year. Outside of that, he was butt fucking your team in their own crib in a playoff game and punking that queer shoe wearing QB of yours and even mocking his girlie ass superman move. Provided Kaepernick stays, I think it would bring out the best in he and Gabbert in terms of competition for the job.

The GM sucks balls. You got me.

Ya, there's been a few bad years in there for sure. However, I'd call myself pretty fortunate to be a fan of a team that has won 5 super bowls and has had recent success in 3 NFC championship games and a super bowl appearance in just the last 5 years or so.

There are many reports that Patrick Willis and Anthony Davis are coming out of retirement. Keep Kaepernick, draft a O-Lineman in the 1st round, and get these guys back with a good coach and I think we're back in the mix.

    Outside of that, GFY. Douche!
