    I don't mind 14 - 1, but it was SO UGLY on both sides of the ball.

    Normally I'd say that was a good thing because it gets everyone re-focused, but focus isn't the problem. There are major, major weaknesses on this roster that the team has been overcoming all season long. The Panthers cannot rush the passer aside from Short and they cannot pass protect either.

    I don't disagree that the team has weaknesses, but I disagree about focus not being a problem. You can't hand teams first downs because of your ego.

    Yep and subbing Finnigan for Bene makes it even worse. Have to focus on the overcoming aspect though, the guys that are here have given us all they have.

    I can easily say that this game was about one play. We had two guys in position to intercept or knock away and neither happened. One fell down and one got out jumped.

    Jared Allen looks washed up and disinterested. Whatever Gettleman traded for him was too much, but it's not like Rivera has to play him.

    Frankly it's stunning that Atlanta was too stupid not to throw deep to Jones out of the slot fourteen times.
