It is largely about the impact of the dumb moves. A 6th round miss is not damaging. Thinking Byron Bell is your starting LOT, held the team back. But didn't cripple it long term.

pretty simple why they keep winning, Newton is a strong leader and the rest follow his lead.

People like you think Joe Namath and Terry Bradshaw were successful quarterbacks because they were great when in reality they were below average yet fortunate to be on great teams.

Cam Newton in the same breath of Bradshaw or Namath is pretty dang higher than anything anybody said about Cam, pre-draft. Here or anywhere.

We'll see. I'll take the below average Bradshaw or Namath any day of the week over anybody else we've had at the QB position. Cam's better than either of them. And history has been purty kind to those two non-elite QBs.

One thing's for sure. Cam ain't a Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson. And I'd love to be as 'successful' as those dudes. At least for one year, anyway. Even if this is it.

Newton will be a future HOF. The guy controls the ball and makes it look easy.

One thing I do think for sure:

Our offense best come out blazing for the rest of the season because we're gonna get scored upon in the secondary. A lot now, I'd wager.

Howie is a front runner. He never said shit about the Blue Jays until they had a good season.
