I don't think they're elite, it's just a bad match-up. Benwikere has been struggling like hell and Cobb is going to eat him up (unless they move Norman inside to cover the slot which I can't imagine they will). You have to get consistent pressure on Rodgers to slow down their offense and I don't see that happening unless Short has a monster game.

Cobb isn't playing that well either. They're not trending very well offensively as a whole. Maybe that changes this week, but I don't feel like it's a terrible match up for us. I think it's a very even, winnable game.

The worst thing for the Panthers this week is how bad the Packers looked last week.

Ignoring the stats that the Packers haven't lost back to back games in 5 years and that after a loss Rogers has thrown 45 TD's to 5 ints, I think it'll be an interesting game. I agree we don't match up great with them. For whatever reasons our safeties played well last game which is something I don't think we can count on. One thing going in our favor is the fact that Lacy hasn't run particularly well. It'll be a fun game to watch. I doubt we get smoked like last year but I don't know if we can put up a lot of points against their defense.

Their defense has given up over 1,000 yards and almost 50 points in their last two games.

True. They played against two pass happy teams which is something we don't do particularly well. They gave up big plays through the air. Last week they played poorly overall but I still think that have defensive weapons that could hurt us.

The Panthers will fill all holes, especially those of the wives/girlfriends brave enough to travel to uptown. They will win the game. Those of you who doubt this may have your holes filled as well. You have been warned! Don't doubt this team.

McCarthy has a really ugly wife. That's my only concern tomorrow.
