I like Hops. Give me an IPA anyday. It's like scotch, you either like them or not. Some are definately better than others. So Cal breweries like Green Flash, Stone, Laganeista (sp) Coronado and of course Russian River and Lost Abbey are the shit IMO

We live in NoCal. Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes away is the Lagunitas brewery in Petaluma. The tour is a lot of fun, and they have many good beers to choose from. My friends that like the IPA's say they swear by the place. The Russian River is also close by. The Hoppy stuff is certainly booming out here. Even the dive bars out here have a myriad of IPA's to choose from.

Does this one actually have a grapefruit finish?

Russian River Brewery is pretty much the gold standard. GABF gold winners forever and Beer Advocate highest rated beer. One day I'll get to try. They are like Asheville breweries. They don't want to get too big and arn't interested in shipping far from home
