You have another year left. Give him a line and another weapon snd see what happens. He may get in another car wreck and it be a moot point

 

He did. He still had the same horrible mechanics and bad habits, but for whatever reason he was dialed in with his accuracy early this season.

 

Optimist: Cam is inexperienced and will get better at that.
Pessimist: Cam is and will always be pretty dumb.

 

The directive to keep Cam will come from Richardson himself. I expect an extension to be announced in the coming months rather than letting it hang over next season. Cam and his agent have the leverage here, so they can refuse a Dalton/Kaepernick style contract and go for a Cutler/Flacco one. Prepare for $125 million over six years with $55 million in guarantees.

Why dont you give the guy a team he can win with instead of a patch work overachieving one. Jesus christ. Manning, brady, luck even RG3 was given weapons. Cam has olson and a streaky Rookie. the run game is either hurt ort the O-line forgets how to block. And the D has played great but can you really count on them on 3rd down in the big game.

 

Okay I have thought about it and will cut him some slack. He took a huge beating this year and was hurt, and showed himself to be pretty darned tough. Maybe if he comes back healthy, his form improves.

 

Of course he won't. He has the same fucking flaws I said he would have before he started playing in the NFL. It's been four years. Cam is what he is. He has shown no inclination or ability to improve. Chudzinski showed that you can win with that if you have the proper coordinator, but Shula isn't going anywhere.
