Chudzinski wasn't any kind of "evil," lesser or otherwise. The fact that a coordinator has flaws doesn't mean they aren't good. Virtually all "good" coordinators do, otherwise they would be great. Chudzinski was unquestionably a "good" coordinator. The people who complained about him and still complain about him do so because they don't understand football well enough to appreciate him, just like many of those same people didn't understand football well enough to appreciate LaFell.

And CelticCat doesn't post "dissenting opinions," he posts uselessly stupid opinions. That's the difference. He posts nonsense that is then proven wrong, but rather than acting like a man and taking responsibility for his mistake or even just showing a little bit of humility, he instead comes back with that much more ignorant vitriol.

I actually agree with the bold. I shouldn't have phrased it that way. He wasn't a bad OC - he was an inconsistent one, and I imagine every fan has issues with theirs. I can respect that.

Celtic isn't a stupid guy. I certainly don't agree with everything he says, but one thing I do know - he doesn't need to leave, and shouldn't. I stuck up for you in that regard too, many years ago, and will so with Celtic here, regardless of whether I disagree with him or not.

You intimidate some of the weaker minds here like Paul and such, so they blindly agree with anything you say. While I can respect that fact, like it or not, I also enjoy it when others come here and buck the trend.

 

I have LaFell on my fantasy team and am happy for him because I never really hated him and would have liked it if he'd have stayed but there is some revisionist LaFell love going on around here. There isn't one person who was sold on him as a future star, that I remember.

i still remember why i don't want chud back. the inexplicable abandonment of the run for what seemed like 3 quarters at a time. he did better with cam. so what. wasn't good enough. now if we are talking chud with a different qb, i don't know. sure, why not. someone who can run an nfl offense, or will be capable of doing it. chud may be the greatest thing since sliced bread. i just don't think anyone is going to be able to do it with cam unless cam is healthy as fuck and dual threat. ain't gonna happen for a whole season. weve got a fucking rg3 situation.

 

I don't know him outside the context of football, but when it comes to that sport he is indeed a colossal moron. Still, you're missing the point. It is perfectly fine to post something wrong. I very rarely jump on anyone for doing so, as I try to always gently correct them first. It's continuing to argue after you're proven wrong that's bad and earns rebuke, then CelticCat takes that to an even higher level by continuing to argue about it for months and years without ever admitting that he said something dumb and wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, myself included. It's how you handle those mistakes that defines your character.
