Loving what you have

Yeah, and he'll be gone eventually. The Panthers will remain. Gettleman is a suit and tie, and suits and ties don't sway my love for the team. There's no Gettleman Cam during games, although I guess that would be pretty entertaining right now.

Dave will be out of the NFL and will be co-hosting a sports show before 2019. And I'll still be here.

 

Panthers have killed the careers of hurney, dante Culpepper, Chris Simms, George Seifert and hopefully gettleman

 

Honestly he'll probably want to quit in a few more years. Last year he already seemed burned out and said something along the lines of how he regretted wanted to be a GM. And this was when things were good.

 

How long is his contract

 

I have no idea. Executive's contracts are very vague and are generally not released to the public like coaches or players contracts. I'm guessing it's something like a five year agreement.

 

Maybe he'll have a heart attack or choke on a sandwich

 

It's funny, I remember last year I said...I mean Kevin Coster said something about how Gettleman needs to lose weight so he can be here for a while. I certainly don't wish for him to have a heart attack now, but I guess I really wouldn't hold a candlelight vigil if he did.




I hope Tolbert is fucking his wife and daughter.

 

A major part of the reason I don't do write-ups and things anymore is that I don't care about this team the way I used to. I don't have hope for the Panthers anymore. Even during the Hurney years I believed that if JR would wake up one day and change the general manager then things could get on track. But now I realize that isn't going to happen. As long as Richardson is still alive, he's going to pick the wrong people to run his franchise, and the Panthers will continue to not be worth my affection.
