Firing a bunch of people would feel great temporarily, but it would only give rise to more incompetence. This is what we got. A great year every four or so years, surrounded by various degrees of mediocrity. It's our destiny.

Learn to love what you've got. I love this team. If winning was all that mattered, I'd go be a Patriots fan.

I mean, Roman Harper and DeCoud can go swallow a bag a bloody aids dicks, and I hope Gettleman gets robbed and pistol whipped late at night at a gas station, but otherwise I love this team. :panthers:

I have a hard time accepting mediocrity. Rivera sucked balls as a coach last year but the team caught fire and bought the fucker three more unwarranted years. Gettleman is a fat no talent evaluating piece of shit or he lied through his teeth when he said our o line would be fine. He needs to made held accountable for this. Shula is clueless. I wouldn't sign Cam to an extension until after next year. Heck transition him and get picks. He threw off his back foot the first day he came here and is still doing it.

LOL. We've been mediocre for 20 years. It appears that you've already accepted it. Don't be ashamed of who we really are.

I'm looking forward to our next playoff run in 2017. :panthers:

I actually don't condone firing Rivera after this year anyway. Who are you going to get? Perry Fewell? You'll end up paying two shitty coaches instead of one. That's not a real solution. Best you can hope for is that Ron will come to his sense about Shula and make anybody else his OC.

It's gotten old. And when you actually hate people that you are supposed to be rooting for, no fun any more. The life is really getting sucked out this time for me.

Life is sucked out and then ejected back in. It's the cycle. Life was sucked out in 2012 and ejected back in last year. It's all a cycle. Growth, decay, and transformation.

The Panthers have advanced to the divisional round or further in 4 of the last 11 seasons. That's certainly not bottom feeding. I know it doesn't feel this way right now, but things can get worse. That's what happens to teams that kneejeck fire people, you end up like the Redskins and Raiders. I'll take this over that anyday.

Lol, you've gone mad my friend. Mad. My God, it's taken your fucking soul.

It's done it to us all I guess....

The only difference between us and the Redskins and Raiders, is that they have trophies and we don't.

It's no use. You know how you fall out of love? Gettleman made that happen for me. Even if we win a Superbowl on his watch I will be cheering the day he goes. On his feet, feet first, however.

This is the realistic view of what it means to be a fan of an NFL team. It doesn't make it any easier to watch. They are awful and after being a very rabid fan since the team's inception I can't watch whole games this year. But, if you are a real fan - and everyone on the Board is - I guess you just roll with the years of up and down bitching all the while....
