    I guess I could still see us winning this division. The Saints have a lot of home games on the horizon, but against tougher competition. I do think we have to win all of the remaining division games. Beating NOLA in the dome feels impossible.

    It's rather discouraging that Oakland could score 24 points against a team we couldn't score 10 against.

    Eh, McD has his hands tied behind his back. I was pretty hard on him until I went back and watched the games again. There's not a whole you can do with the deficiencies we have. He's not perfect by any means - the thing with Boston covering Graham on 2nd and long is still perplexing - but he's a solid coordinator.

    I get the DBs sucking ass but the front seven hasn't tackled nearly as well and the defense as a whole has given up a shitload more yards/points

    All of that goes back to the players. There have been some plays on defense where I thought "What the hell is McDermott thinking?," but not that many.
