    I think most of the world considers a guilty verdict and "convicted" as the same thing: Conviction

    But anyway the technical definitions don't really matter in a PR fiasco. And ESPN has updated the article to not mention the judge's non-conviction guilty verdict...so maybe someone did complain.

    So, let's zoom ahead to next year.


    Option A : We try to re-sign him :
    (do we try to structure his contract to recoup the money we lost on him this year ?)


    Option B : Let him walk (I think we have plenty of depth, but I would HATE to see him in a Falcons Uni next year). But that saved cash could get us some DB/OL/WR help next year as well...

    Its possible.

    Lets say he sits all year, the trial is in early 2015 and he is found not guilty. The media circus turns on the slut and they spin it as what the Panthers sacrificed doing "the right thing".
