I'd take the swap, but people bent over for ads every 2 minutes anyways so I know it won't happen. I got spoiled by watching more soccer during the end of jakes/clausen era it is fucking amazing to watch a game where it doesn't stop every 10 seconds.

 

I've resigned myself to the fact that Hardy will get hit with a 6 game suspension at some point during the year and won't be back next year. I just hope it comes after that brutal stretch where we play GB, Seattle, NO and Philly....oh wait we have 2 Prime Time games in that stretch so the NFL will surely wait until after that.

 

When a guy is suspended by the league, does he lose his salary and if so, does the loss count against the cap?

Still counts from what I've read. Gordon is looking to get his suspension cut in half from multiple sources. As someone mentioned Hardy's was a misdemeanor. Maybe he is looking at a lower suspension?

yep, so a 6 game suspension would cost Hardy 1/3 of his 13 mil contract or just north of 4 million

I am pretty sure he is guilty of something but am also pretty sure that is less than what's been alledged. And what is alledged is way less than what Rice did.

These out of the woodwork outrage mongers don't care that the person leveling the charges is a disgruntled ex, admitted coke user and drunk at the time, gold digger, they are equating what Hardy did with close fisted punching her in the face. Which is not right.

They won't be happy until they ruin Hardy, and if JR doesn't do something they will be trying to get the NFL to force him to sell the team. Doubt that will happen but just wait, that will be put out there soon by someone wanting attention.
