    For Love...

Offering Dion Waters, Anthony Bennett and first rounder. If I am Sota I want Waters, WIGGINS and first rounder. Period. And if I am Cleveland I am doing it. Makes them the favorite in the East.

Now, that said...the East is now even more wide open IMO. Here's hoping things work out for the Hornets (PJ, Von and free agency). They have a shot to do something if the chips fall right.

I thought I heard just Bennett and Wiggins and the first. I'd do everything in the world to hold on to Wiggins even if it meant multiple 1st instead. This team has a nice core for a 3-5 year run keeping Wiggins, Irving, James and Thompson

the cavs don't need to panic and gut the team to try to "win now". lebron is even talking about finishing his career and not promising a trophy. lebron will be good for many more years. love would be awesome, but it's a buyer's market for him. he's going to opt out next year and unless he lands someplace he likes, he won't sign any long term deal. nobody is going to trade major assets for a rental. if love wants to join lebron, he'll not commit to any other teams and then force minny's hands closer to the trade deadline. at that point, the cavs will know a lot more about what they have and what they can get rid of. bennett's stock might also be higher by then. or minny may simply be more desperate.

I agree...I would offer anyone but Wiggins, Irving and 2 number one picks for Love. Waters, Thompson and 2 number one picks might do it.

Those picks will be lower anyway.

Minnesota played themselves into a corner because Chicago presumably is out of the Love race given their moves. That leaves Golden State's no-Klay Thompson crap offer or Cleveland's no-Wiggins crap offer. If Love gets to free agency without being traded then he's going to the Lakers.
