Hey I just read the Observer and see that Hardy has not been attending the team stuff he is supposed to be attending as a condition of getting that 1.3 million up front. Getting drunk and partying instead apparently (my own conclusion).

Not sure I would trust him as a key employee worth a large chunk of cap space long term either.

 

The Kraken/Hogwartz stuff is funny, but it is a struggle to commit huge money to someone pretty out there. There are never any guarantees when it comes to on the field performance, so you don't want to add off the field questions on top of that.

 

I don't think the Kraken shit is even all that funny. Hogwarts, whatever, good for A laugh, as in one. Okay, now go play. And try to show up against the top teams.

I don't mind a 22 year old riding a motorcycle or driving fast, as long as he is sober, near as much as this other bs at 25 and ready/wanting to be PAID.

 

I dont care about any of it. Show up and sack quarterbacks. Dont fail when you go on prime time and call yourself kraken.

Snort coke, screw hookers, show up to practice drunk, fuck the ball boy, cave in a team mates face dont care dont care.

He did sort of play out the Kraken thing, sort of like how everyone played out my Riverboat Ron creation. He reminds me of Dennis Rodman during the late Spurs/early Bulls period.

I really wouldn't be torn up if we decided not to give him the mega deal, for the reason Collin mentioned.

 

Rodman is exactly who I was thinking of when I wrote that. Weird.

 

I think someone here made the Rodman comparison during 2012. Maybe I heard it somewhere else. It stuck with me after I heard it, he's a latter day Rodman.

 

On the field, there's still the issue of him only dominating shitty players. I'd want to see him start being productive against better competition before giving him a huge deal. I felt that way even before all of this.
