She was probably just being a woman, which is usually bad enough, but you still don't start throwing them against random shit in your house.

You have to learn which ones are that messed up before they really feel connected enough to you, to start pushing those buttons. Not easy, or fun, because the sex is universally great. But you must lose that number, or pay hell.

 

I think the best way to handle it is to deny them the satisfaction of being a victim. Walk away. It's a two way street as well, the man doing the hitting usually has his own childhood issues.
