Preseason Game #1 observations

I think he realizes that this probably isn't a great idea. I love how his eyes start bulging when TD grabs Cam's arm.

Liiked the comment in the paper today about moving Bell to left, that they (RR & DG) thought he could fit there and then reporter said at least that's what they're hoping. Sounds like reporter isn't real confident in them or Bell either. But Getttleman sticking hard to his "plan" and seems to still be throwing digs at Smitty - want a receiver who will be a positive influence in the locker room and bring along the young guys. Maybe he let all the other receivers go because they had a connection to Smitty? I know pure speculation, but there has got to be bad blood between DG and Smitty. I wish we could hear from some of the players. DG isn't helping me move past being pissed about losing Smitty.

 

And we all saw Beason sucking ass at OLB for an entire preseason, and we didn't bench him until Ron was coaching for his career against the Giants.

 

Our coach insists that our shitty RT could make a fine LT, when in fact there's film of him being a shitty LT.

 

The whole roster haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaates Gettleman, and not just because he isn't throwing around cash like Hurney, although that's part of it. It's not the worst thing in the world for your players to hate the front office since many teams have won in that situation, but I'd still prefer for them not to.

 

I don't care about who hates who. My concern is over Rivera and Fat Bastard puffing their chest out over a 12-4 that was mostly a gift from the universe.
