Shula doesn't give Cam poor mechanics. Shula doesn't make Cam very slow to read coverages or understand the play to the point that it takes him most of the play clock to get a snap off when your team is in hurry-up mode late in the fourth quarter. Cam looked a lot better under Chudzinski because Chud did a great job of maximizing Cam's strengths and hiding his weaknesses, but the OC doesn't actually change Cam's strengths or weaknesses.

The convenient thing about you being someone who changes his opinion every five seconds is that I can throw your own words back in your face. You know, like when you posted this almost exactly two months ago:

Oh really? You take something I said in the context of being rhetorical and pretend I change my mind?

Ironic (proper use of the word btw) considering you said Tom Brady isn't elite, rather just very good, and is having a poor year and then in the next breath you say the Patriots are annual contenders because they have "one of the best QBs in the game".

If you're going to use everyone's words against them throughout the annals of time, then you're as culpable as the next person.

You're the fucking moron saying football players don't care about their profession if they shoot commercials. Everyone here has pretty much proved you wrong again. It's getting old. Shut the fuck up already and stop trying to make everything personal because you're lonely in real life.

And please stop pretending an OC can't affect positively, or negatively, a players' success. Mechanics aside, Cam has shown improvement.

One of the reasons people laugh at you, besides having absurd opinions, is that you don't know what words mean and use them improperly. Saying you meant that question "rhetorically" means that you believed the answer was self-evident in the affirmative, and you were just asking it to illustrate the point. I'm guessing you meant to say "sarcastic" in an attempt to pretend you weren't genuinely suggesting that Cam was the worst QB in the league, except that you made it very clear through several other posts in that thread as well as all the ranting you did against Cam in chat that day that you were very down on him. You do this a lot where you'll bash a guy one week and praise him the next, probably because you're bi-polar.

It's frustrating when you completely make up things. I never ever said that Tom Brady "is having a poor year" or anything even close to that. Exaggerating, misrepresenting, or flat out making up what someone else said is something you do with regularity whenever you're losing an argument. Now it is true that Brady is having his worst season since '03, but that has merely dropped him from being up with Rodgers, Peyton, and Brees at the top of the heap to just below them. Being the fourth best quarterback in the league obviously still places him as "one of the best QBs in the game."

Again, I never said that. What I did say is that some players place a higher priority on fame than improving as players, but I very specifically said that I do not believe that Cam is indifferent.

Uhm ... you've been following me around for the last two years instigating arguments and posting gay fantasies. You saved pictures of me to your computer. I'm not the one this is personal for.

*sigh* Again, I specifically said that offensive coordinators can affect a quarterback's success. I said that they don't change their strengths and weaknesses. And as for improvement, Cam couldn't execute a hurry-up offense on Sunday, the TV analysts were commenting about how he was staring down his primary read, and Olsen was double covered on that last interception. Cam made some great throws in the first half, and that kind of natural talent is why it's easy to dream about him becoming a better player if he'll only work on his mechanics. But so far he clearly hasn't.

All I will add is there was an article that was supposedly a sit down with Rivera saying he & the QB coach do not think Cam needs work on mechanics etc. Fans are apparently always going up to Rivera saying if he does this that or the other with Cam, Cam's mechanics will be better. Rivera says he smiles and thanks them but that Cam has so much ability beyond throwing the ball, they don't feel they need to change him. Now maybe the writer made the entire thing up, but if a boss tells an employee, you're good the way you are, is it really all on the employee if they're not really good the way they are?

And I do not think Cam is exactly like he was his 1st two years. Has a long way to go, but he has grown. Enough? Maybe not, but there is SOME maturity growing.

While I am not suggesting players are pushed to do publicity, I would bet it is in no way discouraged. The league gets a lot of money from advertising/businesses/etc, etc. I can imagine the league looks fondly on popular players who do favors (advertising) for companies who in turn pour money into the league.

And I remember cologne ads in magazines Brady did WAY back when. Maybe not his 1st year, but way early well before Giselle years. They were really cheesy I thought.

Oh, I don't doubt that Rivera said that. Cam has been coddled from Day 1, and it's actually to his credit that he hasn't turned out to be Vince Young as a result since that could have happened. But you only need external pressure to improve if you don't have it internally. You're correct to keep pointing out that the coaches are failing Cam by not pushing him to work on his flaws, but Cam is also failing himself.

Russell Wilson fell way back in the draft, and turned nothing into something.

Oh Jesus Christ Collin, not again. I had to explain to you what ironic meant, what mocking meant, and now this? I wasn't being sarcastic. I was being rhetorical.

employed for rhetorical effect; especially : asked merely for effect with no answer expected <a rhetorical question>

I wasn't asking for anyone's opinion on whether he was the worst QB. Nor did I think he was any worse than EJ Manual or the back up who was playing at the time. Or Kolb, or Locker, or whoever. It was a RHETORICAL QUESTION, stated for effect. I WAS PISSED. But you knew that...you're just grabbing at what you can for effect. Because you're that guy.

Now don't you ever fucking try and correct anyone here on this board again, because you're a fat fucking idiot. FOr as profoundly fucking SIMPLE and fucking STUPID as Panther Paul is, you should ask him permission to state an opinion in the future. Many here have said you resemble thelt lately. I think you WERE thelt. You made him up as an alt to look tough and smart.

As for your opinion, you shouldn't be allowed to post here anymore. Here's a very RECENT recap on your retarded bullshit in just the past month:

Ryan Kalil and Luke Kuechly, both pro bowlers and who've both received numerous honors for their play are the two guys you keep telling everyone are playing bad, or "not very good".

One minute you say Tom Brady is just ok, the next one of the best in the NFL.

You tell everyone in chat a fucking press cover 1 man where our safety was playing single high was a cover 2 defense and that White was not jamming the receiver, rather staying put because he was "scared of Kaepernick running". That would be a mistake anyone could make and no big deal, but you pretend you know about football when you don't know fucking SHIT.

You claim Mikell is a great cover safety, and say it was because PFF said he was good last year. PFF also said Luke Keuchly had an all word game and graded extremely high during the same week you said he had a bad game, which is one of your more epic fucking blunders, like when you claim there is no such thing as a comeback route. And then you bitch about route trees. Dude, you don't even know what a fucking out route is. PFF gave him a +5.5 grade for Luke Kuechly. Credited him w/17 tackles, 5 assists w/10 targets into coverage for just 21 yards. Ya know, the same game you said he didn't defend a SINGLE PASS, and he sucked because people CAUGHT THE BALL, and we're supposed to make sure no one CAUGHT THE BALL. Dude, you play so much Madden you forgot that in real life, that's not humanly possible. it's not REAL.

You said reading the defense all takes place pre snap. You chastised me telling me that I didn't know what reading a defense was because it took place before the play. No, clown. Those are simply called pre snap reads.

You read the defense once the fucking play is snapped too. You will read the zones, the DL, the corners...

You told this wonderful message board as fact that Cam never - NEVER - goes through progressions. Then you say he never - NEVER - steps into his throws.

You're a fucking clown. I have no idea why anyone listens to you. I really don't. When Magnus left, you've gone uncontested, because no one else has the time or energy to keep up with your endless drivel...and that's really a shame, because you're truly an idiot.

Dude....all this other shit with me being this and that, whatever man. You're the guy who's followed every post I made for the tune of 3 months recently blabbering about the "fake girlfriend" thing. You've stalked and obsessed. It's easy to say the same about me when I respond to your bullshit, but goddamn, you say so many dumbass fucking things, man. No one - NO ONE ELSE here, constantly pawns off their opinions as fact. Just you. You speak in absolutes and fact, when you're nothing but some fat kid on a computer with so many social miscues for even a message board that you're widely made fun of as the "message board don". You're fucking laughed at. Jesus Christ dude, congratulations. You get under my skin. You really do. Shame on me for that.
