We were playing a very good D yesterday (4th) with some awesome linebackers too. Id like to see some shorter passes to get Cam in a rhythm early in the game, but those guys yesterday were pretty swarming.

Seems there was something to Riveras comments about the team practicing nervous, the O sure played like it early and late in the game.

I read a story on SI.com today that puts that 'term' into some context. After the Rams game, he was watching the late game with his wife in a restaurant and noticed that they hadn't shown one highlight of the win. He commented to his wife that they weren't relevant. he then took it to the team. I see it as similar to the 'no respect' battle cry you hear a lot in locker rooms. just a different word.

I'd like to believe it was just the very good defense.

Thing is, his mechanics still continue to inconsistent. Didn't step into - square off - progress through reads, and when he saw the check downs, he held the ball and kept looking deep. I mean, how often did that happen yesterday.

Too often he would throw high, miss wide open guys. Sure, LaFell and Smith had a few drops to kill drives. Who knows...maybe the offense was just off.

This shit needs to clean up though. Cam's had a few off weeks in a row now.

The Panthers will not be "RELEVANT" until they make the playoffs on a consistent basis, something we've never done in franchise history. That's just the way it is for an NFL team in Charlotte. Even with a popular and sometimes inflammatory player like Cam. Until we win a Super Bowl or consistently make the playoffs we will always be the red-headed stepchild.

Yeah, he was definitely high on quite a few throws, the WR's had their fair share of drops too. Its not gonna look good when both happen on the same day.

I'm still baffled by the INT. Was he trying to throw it OOB, did the hit to his shoulder affect the throw that badly or was it one of those jump throws where neither foot is properly set.

Cam isn't going to always have a perfect pocket to step up into tho, he has got to be able to throw from different platforms and with players trying to hang on to him, take him down or get in his face.

If its perfection were after were all going to be sorely disappointed. Were 9 games into the season and Cam has a completion percentage of 72% on 3rd downs this year, that's outstanding and a massive improvement on last year.

I gave in and decided to watch ESPN this afternoon. We're actually getting an insane amount of respect. Michael Wilbon called us his "new favorite team".

Yep I made damn sure to tune in to the highlight shows last night. I knew the motherfuckers couldn't ignore us anymore. Every win over the last month, total ass kickings and they would show like one fucking play. Then go slob RG3s cock for 10 minutes or lick Peytons balls for 15. Shit was getting old.

You also forgot if they won "IS DALLAS/NY TEAM A PLAYOFF CONTENDER?" and if they lost "IS DALLAS/NY TEAM SEASON OVER?"
